The Current Record

The record currently stands at 12,953 watts and we need at least 1,000 participants to stand a chance of breaking the record. Our attempt beings at 5pm on Friday 27 August and lasts until 5pm on Saturday 28 August at Coalburn One Stop Shop.

Sustainable Saturday

Our heroic effort is part of our Sustainable Saturday family day where there is something for everyone and non-participants can lend their support or enjoy other activities such as a soft play area, healthy cooking demonstrations, interactive renewable demonstrations, face painting and bouncy castles.

Get involved... and be a record breaker!

As long as you cycle for a minimum minute, you can become part of history and gain entry into the hallowed Guinness Book of Records. This event can be used a team building event for staff or clubs, or organisations can use it for fundraising opportunities.

We will be arranging free transport from locations throughout Clydesdale. The bikes will be provided and don't worry about the weather - we're indoors and under a marquee!
